Cristina Cavallo Frisby is the Founder of Comprehensive Recovery Solutions.
She has felt the devastating effects of addiction in her own family. This has lit a fire within to help as many people as she can receive accessible treatment options.
Cristina earned her Master of Science (MS) in Human Services, specializing in Addiction Counseling. She is certified with the State of Florida as a Masters Level Addiction Professional (MCAP) with Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICDAC).
She has worked in a variety of settings including correctional facilities, private and state-funded substance use treatment programs, community mental health agencies, and managed care organizations. With this wide range of experience and knowledge, Cristina is convinced there are multiple paths to recovery.
She believes her values of integrity, authenticity, justice and an open mind have strengthened her success.
Cristina’s Connection
Cristina’s connection to addiction was involuntary. She is the daughter of two addicted, but eventual, recovery-seeking parents.
In 2001, after seventeen years of committed recovery, and an extensive support network, her mom relapsed and died soon after being prescribed pain medication for a surgical procedure.
The sudden and tragic loss of her mom forever changed their family as a whole. Following her mom’s death, her twin sister drifted into an 18-year on, and off rollercoaster of sobriety and relapse.

MAT helps you stop using opioids with lowest relapse rates and minimal physical discomfort.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is the use of medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. It is also important to address other health conditions during treatment.

Also known as Buprenorphine/naloxone, Suboxone is a prescription medicine used to treat opioid addiction in adults and is part of a complete treatment program that also includes counseling and behavioral therapy.
When taken as prescribed is safe and effective. Buprenorphine has unique pharmacological properties that help:
